Insulation
In 2002, Westside Drywall expanded their business to include Insulation when they discovered the growing need and desire for Builders and Homeowners to have the convenience of hiring one company to provide multiple services. Since Westside Drywall was already performing Light Demo, Metal Stud Framing, Drywall, and Texture, the added service of installing insulation helped jobs go even smoother, faster, and at less cost (and less scheduling hassles) for the Client. The demand for Westside Drywall’s Insulation Service accelerated and Westside Drywall became Westside Drywall & Insulation.
Averaging over 200 insulation jobs per month, Westside Drywall & Insulation provides all insulation needs from upgrading current insulation to sound- proofing to complete install on a New home, Multi-Family or Commercial Building. We can also fulfill the strict Insulation requirements to satisfy Earth Advantage and Energy Star qualifications.
Types of Insulation Installed:
- Cellulose

Existing Home Energy Upgrades
All of us can take steps, from the simple to the drastic, to spend less money on energy, make our homes more comfortable, and lower our households’ impact on our environment. Small behavioral changes can have large paybacks even though those changes may be free. Larger undertakings can increase the value, durability, and longevity of our homes while also saving energy dollars. Below are some of the things Westside Drywall and Insulation can do to increase your homes' energy efficiency and save you money:
- Air Leak Sealing
Many air leaks in homes are fairly obvious, such as around windows, doors, and electrical outlets. But others, like those in attics, around chimneys, and through recessed lighting fixtures, are often the more significant sources of energy loss in a home. Sealing air leaks is critical to improving the overall efficiency of your home and will make your heating and cooling system perform better. Along with air sealing, your contractor may recommend that you add insulation. Many older homes are not well-insulated, and some have no insulation at all. Properly installed insulation in walls, floors, and attics provides for more even temperatures throughout the house and results in a quieter, more comfortable living environment that is easier to heat and cool.
- Duct Sealing
Many homes have leaky ductwork and poor air flow, resulting in stuffy and uncomfortable rooms — regardless of the thermostat setting. The home performance contractor may recommend sealing your home’s ducts with mastic, metal tape or spray-on sealant, and balancing the duct system to optimize air flow to all rooms. Insulating ductwork in attics, crawlspaces, and some basements can also help to ensure that your home will be more comfortable.
